Developed by the legendary Steven Harris (bio below), the Shadow Loadout course is a detailed examination of dozens of useful and often-overlooked tools that he didn’t see others talking about when it comes to outfitting soldiers to deploy. Harris executed this course, which accumulates decades of testing, for a friend’s son new to the 75th Rangers about to deploy during the Russia-Ukraine war. Most of the tools involve communications and harvesting power. The nearly three-hour course follows Harris as he shows and explains these real-world essentials. As Harris says, the course “was made with items that either I own or the people I consult with own and the vast majority of all these items have been fielded in combat.”
Meanwhile, the Solkoa Kit teardown and demonstration is a 4-inch fire hose brain dump from Steven Harris as he unboxes and evaluates (live on camera) the Solkoa kit by a Special Operations Forces Group (SoF). This is a life and death emergency kit. The video course is just under two hours and follows Harris as he picks apart the kit, explaining what each item is for, analyzing how it would be used in a survival situation, and finding new uses for each item and combination of items. He also explains what is NOT in the kit.
