All fair questions. This is the online shop of Gabriel Custodiet, creator of the Watchman Privacy podcast. Gabriel has been researching and publishing privacy-related information since 2020, and the show has greatly increased in popularity since then and is followed by many prominent experts in cybersecurity, privacy, and cryptocurrency. Just as important: we practice what we preach, so your order on this shop requires only an email address (aliases widely accepted), and a credit card number should you choose to pay in that way. But you can pay in monero or bitcoin, access the website through Tor, and download your materials so you never have to visit the website again. Tell me how many online shops, much less privacy advocates, have a setup like that? We offer customer service that (I’m told by people who interact with us) is top-quality.

You will receive a few emails, one of which asks you to create your password for your account on our website. We will approve your order (it’s not always automatic due to our systems), and then you will have access to our “Confidential” section of our website, where you can watch your courses or download your books. We have spent a lot of time making this process easier for the customer, but please have patience. Since we believe deeply in self-hosting and freedom tech and as little Big Tech tools as possible, sometimes things aren’t as seemless as if we were a privacy-destroying Big Tech juggernaut.

The short answer is no: there are plenty of things you are going to find on ETT that aren’t explained elsewhere on the Internet, and certainly not at the level of instruction that we do. In researching our products we found information online regarding private crypto and other privacy topics either incomplete, incorrect, or overly complex and theoretical. We have spent hundreds of hours examining these current methods, speaking with the world’s leading experts, and building our own processes: each ruthlessly tested and digested to a practical, teachable level. Nothing less than this was acceptable for tutorials on the most consequential decisions a person can make.

Our tutorials are radical, certainly, but we’re not stupid. Our products are available worldwide where laws on crypto and other topics vary widely. What is legal in one place might not be in another. The producers of this course are not giving financial, taxation, or legal advice, and do not knowingly discuss methods that go against existing laws. All our products are informational only.
